Answer
The Attorney-General regularly receives aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, and other advice. In many cases, they attract privilege, including legal advice and litigation privileges. A list is provided below in response to this question. Deletions may have been made to this list in the public interest, and to uphold applicable privileges. Crown Law: Meeting with the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, 8 July 2026 Approval for a waiver of privilege, 8 July 2026 Approval for limited purpose waiver of privilege, 9 July 2026 Ministry of Justice: New Zealand Parole Board, 9 July 2026 Parliamentary Counsel Office: Statutory References to Principles of Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi Bill, 9 July 2026.
