Answer

I am advised that the Shorter Stays in Emergency Departments (SSED) health target is for 95 percent of patients to be admitted, discharged, or transferred from an emergency department within six hours by 2030. I am further advised that for the 2025/26 financial year, the national milestone for all hospitals was 77 percent, and 74 percent for the 2024/25 financial year. I refer the Member to the attached table that shows the results for Waitakere Hospital for the last four quarters.
