Answer

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advise me that in the 2025/26 financial year it spent approximately 0.25 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) on compiling the emissions inventory and an additional 0.25 FTE implementing the use of low-carbon concrete in the build programme. During 2025/26, Kāinga Ora also spent $900,000 gross on fleet electrification, which contributed to achieving the Carbon Neutral Government Plan’s carbon reduction targets. Tāmaki Regeneration Company spent $0 on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025/26 financial year. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development spent $16,341.25 in the 2025/26 financial year.
