I am advised that for the 2026/27 financial year, EECA has budgeted $5,470,000 in grant funding related expenditure for existing contractual arrangements under Carbon Neutral Government Programme (M037) and $670,000 under the related State Sector Decarbonisation Fund (M034). There is no budget for new activity. EECA has also budgeted $12,000 to comply with the Carbon Neutral Government Programme as an organisation. As an Independent Crown Entity, the Electricity Authority is not mandated under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
