The Ministry of Education has not yet finalised budgets for the 2026/27 financial year and so cannot say how much, if any, will be budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP). NZQA has budgeted $17,200 for the CNGP in 2026/27 financial year. ENZ has budgeted $15,700 for the CNGP in the 2026/27 financial year. The Education Review Office has budgeted $13,500 on the CNGP for the 2026/27 financial year (this excludes any funding increases that may occur from the transfer of functions from the Ministry of Education).
