Answer
I am advised that of the three Crown appointees in Corrections for the 2023/24 financial year, two were external board members, and one was a Corrections employee who was not remunerated in their position as a board member and was paid a salary as part of their substantive role at Corrections. As Crown appointees in Corrections are appointed for a three-year term, Corrections had the same Crown appointees for the 2025/26 financial year. I am further advised that Corrections spent a total of $4,048 in the 2023/24 financial year and $18,774 in the 2025/26 financial year on remuneration for Crown appointees. A total of $12,800 is budgeted for remuneration of Crown appointees in Corrections for the 2026/27 financial year. This is also my response to WPQ 31046 (2026) and WPQ 31047 (2026).
