I am advised that the analysis was informed by consideration of maritime on-call hours and maritime deployments, analysis of Priority 1 (or 1W) incident data covering the period 2021 to 2025 (to October), review of maritime training requirements, and review of data relating to vessel activity, including boat and crew hours on the water under the previous roster model. Operational considerations, including the ability to support prevention activities and respond to 1W incidents, were also taken into account.
