How much of the Regional Infrastructure Fund, if any, was allocated to marae in Budget 2024?
Answered by
Hon Shane Jones
List MP · NZ First · Minister for Regional Development
Answer
There was no commitment through the Regional Infrastructure Fund (RIF) to marae as part of Budget 2024. The RIF is a multi-year appropriation established through Budget 2024. In the financial year 2023/24, no funding was approved for projects involving marae.
