Answered by

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon

Answer

In my capacity as Minister for National Security and Intelligence and Prime Minister, I regularly receive advice from a range of officials including from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet relating to the National Security and Intelligence and Prime Minister portfolios. I have received no advice from DPMC relating to the 30th Rim of the Pacific exercise 2026. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
