Answer

I am advised that the Ministry of Education has awarded two contracts, valued at $1 million or more, to a service provider without undertaking a competitive tendering process since 1 January 2025. These are outlined below: Language Circle • Purpose: National Language Advisor and Language Assistants • Value: $1,606,011 • Exemption: Rule 14.9(c)(ii) – only one supplier (intellectual property/exclusive rights). Methodist Mission Southern • Purpose: Delivery of the ENRICH oral language programme • Value: $5,600,000 • Exemption: Rule 14.9(c)(ii) – only one supplier (intellectual property/exclusive rights).
