What conservation land, if any, on Aotea / Great Barrier Island is included in the "bits and bobs" he referred to in Environment Select Committee on 18 June?

Answer

The Government has always been firm that our iconic landscapes and the places that make New Zealand special will never be put at risk. But I was not clear enough about how the Conservation Amendment Bill (the Bill) would do that, so on 25 June I announced that the Government supports the removal of the land exchanges and disposals provisions from the Bill. This has since been communicated with the Environment Select Committee considering the Bill.
