Answer

Yes. Kānoa – Regional Economic Development & Investment Unit (Kānoa) is currently undertaking the contract closure process. Any unspent funding will remain with the fund’s administrator, Kānoa, and could be reprioritised and reallocated, or returned by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment to Treasury, as required. In regards to paid funding, this information can be found in the full list of all Kānoa – Regional Economic Development & Investment Unit managed projects on the Grow Regions website: www.growregions.govt.nz/established-funds/what-we-have-funded.
