Answer

I am advised the definition of homelessness will be reviewed, in partnership with iwi Māori, data experts, and stakeholders. The Homeless and Transient Populations Data Advisory Group will support this review. This group, hosted by Stats NZ working closely with HUD, is currently being established. The process for how the group will work with the Wai 2750 claimants is still to be mapped out.
