Answer

The capital injection from Budget 2026 into the Safer Drinking Water in Schools programme was as a result of decisions on the Maintenance of the School Property Portfolio Business Case that Cabinet approved in December 2025 included the provision of safe drinking water infrastructure as a key programme in the portfolio. This is also my answer to written parliamentary questions 28234 (2026) and 28235 (2026).
