Answer
Crown Law and the Parliamentary Counsel Office do not have boards, and their only external committees are their Audit and Risk Committees. None of the members are appointed by the Attorney General. However, the Solicitor-General and Chief Parliamentary Counsel are appointed by the Governor-General on advice from the Attorney-General. The Attorney-General also nominates a retired High Court Judge to certify revision bills drafted by the Parliamentary Counsel Office under the Legislation Act 2019.
