Answer

I am advised that there were no instances where a director of Tāmaki Redevelopment Company was exluded from or absent for an item due to a conflict of interest. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that Board attendance is reported in Kāinga Ora Annual Reports which are available on its website. Kāinga Ora further advises that it does not centrally report on the reasons for Board Members' absences, or the proportion of absences due to a conflict of interest. Where a conflict of interest occurred, a management plan was put in place, resulting in restriction of access to papers and a short absence for that agenda item. It is not possible to identify the individual agenda items missed and the proportion in attendance for each Board member as this would require a substantial amount of work to collate from the last 2.5 years, therefore I am declining to answer this question in accordance with SR 210/6.
