Further to reply 19848 (2026), what is the nature and total value of the "financial support" NZ Post is offering retail partners to ensure a smooth transition; how many partners have been offered it; and if affected agents have, as the reply to 19850 (2026) states, made "no further investment" beyond contract-purchased assets, what is that financial support intended to compensate for?

Answer
I am advised that the nature of the financial support is a one-off payment made to the majority of retail partners, subject to criteria, to support them through the transition. I’m advised NZ Post is choosing to do this beyond contractual requirements. The total value of this financial support is commercially sensitive.
