During the initial phase of work, MartinJenkins engaged with recognised experts as part of gathering evidence and testing insights. This included engagement with the Teaching Council, given its role as the regulator for the teaching profession. The Chair was invited to take part in this engagement but declined the invitation and delegated the engagement to a Teaching Council senior leader.
