Answer

In October 2025, pursuant to the Cabinet Fees Framework, within my Women portfolio, I approved an increase in fees for Members of the National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women (NACEW). The effective date of the new fees was 1 January 2026. This was the first increase to NACEW Member fees since 2016. The fees prior to 1 January 2026 did not reflect the time and value members bring to their roles. Increasing fees may also help to attract and retain highly skilled members. I refer the Member to the attached table for a breakdown of the fees.
