Answer

I am advised that no Police district as a whole has paused or ceased the delivery of Keeping Ourselves Safe Programme since June 2024. However, delivery by Police has ceased in some areas (within districts). These are: • Waitakere Area – due to operational priorities • Waikato South Area – No School Community Officers available to deliver the programme • Mid-South Canterbury Area – No School Community Officers available to deliver the programme. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 27702 (2026).
