Answer

I am advised that to ensure accuracy of reporting, the total amount Corrections has paid in board and committee fees has been provided by the closest complete financial months to the timeframes requested by the member. Therefore, I refer the member to the attached table, which provides the total amount Corrections has paid in board and committee fees between 1 December 2023 and 30 May 2026, broken down by financial year. I am also advised that these amounts are for boards and committees where members are paid in line with the Cabinet Fees Framework. Some of these boards also include Corrections staff who serve as chairs or members, these individuals are not remunerated for their roles as they receive a salary in their substantive positions within Corrections. Therefore, any payments made to them are not included in the amounts provided.
