Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) was provided with a baseline reduction target of 2 percent savings target for Budget 2026, which is $2.1 million per annum, for which LINZ submitted a savings bid. LINZ also received a directive to consider initiatives funded out of reprioritisation to meet any non-discretionary fuel costs this year due to the conflict in the Middle East. LINZ did not submit any bids for this.
