Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) was provided with a baseline reduction target of 2 percent savings target for Budget 2026, which is $2.1 million per annum. LINZ also received a directive to consider initiatives funded out of reprioritisation to meet any non-discretionary fuel costs this year, due to the conflict in the Middle East.
