I am advised that the six replacement machines installed since the October 2025 announcement have not required additional staffing. I am further advised that the following staff were recruited for the three additional machines: • 6.38 FTE for the new CT and new MRI at Hawke's Bay hospital, including medical imaging technologists, nurses and a healthcare assistant. • 5.2 FTE for the new CT at Kenepuru Hospital, including medical imaging technologists, radiographic assistant and a SMO/Radiologist.
