  • Which agencies, departments, Crown entities, companies, or other organisations for which the Minister is responsible, if any, have been required to identify or deliver baseline savings or staffing reductions since 27 November 2023, and how much, if anything, has each delivered, broken down by organisation and year, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Scott Simpson

Member for Coromandel · National Party · Minister for ACC

Answer

Since 27 November 2023, ACC has not been required to identify or deliver baseline savings or staffing reductions. However, the Government’s 2025/26 Letter of Expectations states that ACC is to return to basics by restoring rehabilitation as its core purpose and ensure the Scheme’s long-term financial sustainability.
