Information on contractor and consultant expenditure is publicly available on the Public Services Commission website (https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/data/workforce-data/public-sector-composition/workforce-size). I consider that further work to identify more detailed information from Crown Entities I am responsible for, would require a diversion of resources that will interfere with the operation of my office. As per Speaker’s Ruling 199/6, I do not consider it to be in the public interest to undertake an exercise to identify and collate the material requested. The Member may wish to provide further specificity.
