Department of Internal Affairs: I refer the Member to the Treasury’s Budget 2026 Summary of Initiatives, which lists all initiatives, including title, amount sought, and funding decisions (https://www.treasury.govt.nz/sites/default/files/2026-05/b26-sum-initiatives.pdf). Further detail will be available in responses to the Governance and Administration Committee’s pre-hearing questions for the 2026/27 Estimates. Classification Office: I am advised that the Classification Office is not involved in Budget bid processes and has no new spending initiatives. Lotto New Zealand: I am advised that Lotto New Zealand is not involved in Budget bid processes and has no new spending initiatives. Fire and Emergency New Zealand: I am advised that Fire and Emergency New Zealand is not involved in Budget bid processes and has no new spending initiatives.
