Answer

I am advised that Corrections can only provide the number of staff made redundant by financial year as providing these details broken down by month will likely breach the privacy of the staff members involved. I am further advised that since November 2023, twelve staff at Corrections have been made redundant, five in the 2025 financial year, and seven in the 2026 financial year. Of the twelve redundancies in total, four were voluntary. I am also advised that of the twelve staff made redundant, three have been appointed to new roles at Corrections. Two are on a full-time fixed term contract and one is on part-time fixed term contract.
