Answer
I am advised that, since 27 November 2023, the Department of Conservation has had 123 redundancies. I refer the member to the attached table for the breakdown of redundancies by month, including details about voluntary redundancies. Of these 123 redundancies, 12 staff have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the Department (six casual, five fixed term and one permanent as at 5 June 2026). I refer the member to the attached table for the breakdown of employment status.
