Corrections has no new spending initiatives in Budget 2026. New spending initiatives or Budget bids has been interpreted as services Corrections was not providing prior to receiving new funding or new services funded through the reprioritisation of existing baseline funding. This excludes initiatives to expand or extend existing functions.
