Answer
I refer the Member to reply number WPQ 56102 (2025), which relates to financial settlements. I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples that there has been one confidential settlement agreement involving a financial settlement since 27 November 2023, with a total cost of $16,500, in the 2024/25 financial year. In addition, a further four confidential agreements have been entered into during this period that did not involve financial settlement payments. These relate to standard employment arrangements, including agreed departures and payments such as notice in lieu.
