Answer

I am advised that Customs entered into 17 confidential settlement agreements during the period 27 November 2023 to 5 June 2026. Of those 17 settlements, 15 included financial payments, totalling $637,804.39 during this period. I refer the Member to the appendix attached, which provide a breakdown of the number and cost of settlements by calendar year. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 26029 (2026).
