What schools, if any, are being prioritised through the Solar on Schools programme to receive support for installation?

Answer

The information sought by the Member is not collated by the Ministry of Education in a way that is readily reportable in the timeframe available to respond to written parliamentary questions. Schools will be prioritised who: • are experiencing energy or fuel insecurity • are facing higher energy costs • are scheduled for gas or diesel boiler replacements • have a need for greater resilience • are solar-ready, with roofs suitable for solar panels to be installed.
