Answer

I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) has responded to 35 complaints of bullying during the period 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2025. Customs has recorded the following categories of workplace bullying allegations throughout this period: bullying; bullying and intimidation; harassment; and, behaviour in the workplace. I refer the Member to the attached appendix which provides the recorded categories of these complaints broken down by calendar year.
