Further to reply 19468 (2026), how many, if any fatalities have been recorded since 1 January 2023, broken down by region and month?

I am advised that since 1 January 2023 there has been one fatal crash involving an individual from the cohort referenced. To protect the privacy of those involved and given the ongoing inquiries by NZ Police, no further details are able to be provided at this time.
