Answer

As is standard practice, I was made aware that Hon Nicole McKee had a potential conflict of interest in relation to potential appointments to the Ministerial Arms Advisory Group at the point in time in which I was asked to consider nominees to the MAAG as the Minister of Justice, following guidance from the Cabinet Office, and before I took those nominations to Cabinet.
