  • In its risk analysis, what did Fire and Emergency New Zealand’s Fuel Planning Group assume was the most likely scenario for the current fuel crisis?

Answered by

Hon Brooke van Velden

Answer

As the Minister of Internal Affairs, I am advised that Fire and Emergency New Zealand assumed the most likely scenario for the current fuel crisis would be domestic pump price volatility with localised and short-term distribution issues due to isolated stock shortages.
