Answer

I have announced the following changes to the Accommodation Supplement (AS). These changes will come into force on 1 April 2027 • Increasing the AS maximum by between $10 and $30 per week • Adjusting the AS area boundaries • Increasing the ‘entry threshold’ or the minimum weekly contribution some homeowners must make towards their housing costs from 30% to 40%.
