Answer
The Government announced measures to transform the public service as part of Budget 2026 on 28 May 2026. I am advised that Customs is considering the implications of the transformation programme. Detailed agency-level work, such as briefings, modelling, and implementation planning has not yet been undertaken. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 21007, 21008, and 21013 (2026).
