Question

  • What amount, if any, of the Pacific Warden funding boost has been spent on the paid coordinator role salary in the Auckland region to date?

Answered by

Hon Paul Goldsmith

List MP · National Party · Minister for Pacific Peoples

Answer

I am advised that the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry) provided $250,000 (excluding GST) to the Auckland Pacific Wardens Charitable Trust for delivery of this initiative in 2025/26 which covers all operational costs. The Ministry does not hold detailed breakdowns of expenditure by individual cost items.
