I can confirm that for 2026/27, the funding transferred to the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) will be used for Tupu Aotearoa. From 1 July 2026, MSD will take over responsibility for operational decisions, including how Tupu Aotearoa and related services are delivered. The Ministry is working closely with MSD to ensure a smooth transition.
