Answer

I met with the Environmental Defence Society (EDS) on 20 May 2026 to discuss the Natural Environment Bill and Planning Bill. EDS also wrote to me on 2 March 2026 and 21 April 2026 regarding the Bills. Representatives from EDS were present at a meeting which I attended on 28 April 2026 between environmental non-government organisations, and other Ministers, where resource management reform was discussed.
