On 17 December, I received a letter from LGNZ regarding submission timeframes for the Planning Bill and the Natural Environment Bill. I attended the LGNZ Metro Sector meeting on 25 February and the LGNZ Rural & Provincial Conference on 14 May. At these events, I spoke briefly about the Natural Environment Bill and the Planning Bill, as well as other relevant topics for LGNZ, including Simplifying Local Government and the head-start pathway.
