Question

  • What public sector roles, if any, that falls within the Ministerial responsibility of the Minister will be impacted by the public sector jobs cuts announced last week by job title and description?

Answered by

Rt Hon Winston Peters

List MP · NZ First · Minister of Foreign Affairs

Answer

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is part of the public sector workforce to which in-principle reduction targets apply. It is too soon to know what contribution will need to be made by the Ministry or which roles could be affected.
