Answer

I am advised that the Ministry of Justice (the Ministry) has not deployed artificial intelligence in customer service functions. The Ministry is exploring potential uses of artificial intelligence, including for customer service, but these have not been implemented. I am advised that the Human Rights Commission uses artificial intelligence within its enquiries and complaints client management system to support the processing of communications, initial assessment and triaging processes. No other entities have deployed artificial intelligence in customer service functions.
