Answer

I am advised that the non-compliance actions were taken against vehicles, and none of these related to the driver’s licence class or endorsement status. I am advised by NZTA that 123 faults are recorded for the 77 vehicles. The fault categories and numbers within each category are as follows: • Ball-race Turntables: 1 • Brakes: 18 • Cab, Chassis and Body: 16 • Fluid Leaks: 5 • Fuel Systems: 1 • Lighting: 28 • Load Anchorage: 5 • Mudguards: 4 • PSV Cab, Chassis and Body: 1 • PSV Wheels and Tyres: 4 • Suspension: 4 • Tow Couplings and 5th Wheel: 2 • Vision: 10 • Wheels and Tyres: 24
