Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it incurred costs for a specialist barrister to carry out the required investigation; this was an external consultant who worked with Kāinga Ora legal team as a secondee for a defined period to manage this piece of work along with other unrelated projects. Due to the scope of the person’s work, we are unable to extract costs.
