I am advised that each week MBIE staff work on a range of matters addressing and monitoring migrant exploitation including reporting, policy development, assessing applications for migrant exploitation protection visas, taking compliance and enforcement actions, triaging allegations, investigating employers and deporting offenders to help prevent further offending and maintain the integrity of the wider system.
