Question

  • Who operates each of the datacentres used by Health New Zealand, including the legal entity responsible for day-to-day operation and infrastructure maintenance?

Answered by

Hon Simeon Brown

Member for Pakuranga · National Party · Minister of Health

Answer

I am advised that Health New Zealand has several agreements with partners who operate data centre services in which it has critical clinical and business systems; the largest of which are Datacom and Spark. Health NZ has other agreements for cloud services such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure that are delivered from external data centres.
