Answer

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, in conjunction with other agencies including the Ministry for Primary Industries, is actively tracking the supply of a range of key products used in New Zealand. While a significant share of New Zealand's fertilisers is sourced from the Middle East, the Ministry has not been advised of any imminent shortages. They are continuing to monitor the situation given the importance of fertilisers across the economy.
